Leadership is about uniting diverse individuals in pursuit of a shared goal; it is about empowering and connecting others and bringing out the best in every member.

Leadership is the ability to guide and direct others without any force but instead direct them so that they want to do what needs to be done. It is about empowering each individual to work together as a team and group. We can learn a lot about how Jesus Christ led others as an example of how we should lead others.

Leadership Is The Ability To Guide Others Without Force

We all know leaders have the power to do great things and make a lasting impression on their team. Leadership goes far beyond making decisions and giving orders – it is about guiding people, teams, and organizations toward success without force or coercion.

Leadership requires practical communication skills, understanding human behavior and motivation, and building trust among followers. Leadership is truly the ability to guide others without force.

Leadership is about creating clear expectations for employees; inspiring collaboration between stakeholders; promoting positive work environment dynamics; taking ownership of mistakes; providing transparent feedback loops that help foster growth opportunities for all involved parties – plus much more!

Successful leaders can bring together teams of individuals in meaningful ways that move projects forward without needing force or manipulation tactics to attain results.

A boss can become a bully. A boss can try to force others to do what they want them to do. Being a bully or using force is not leadership.

But a leader cannot be a bully. That is because leadership is about guiding others and inspiring them. While at the same time, you are using each individual’s unique abilities and guiding them to work together in the same direction and the outcome.

A true leader is more like a conductor of an orchestra. They bring people together and guide them to produce the right notes, intensity, and tempo to ensure that the outcome is a beautiful musical masterpiece.

A leader understands how to work with each individual’s ability and helps that individual to work together with the rest of the orchestra and produce the music that needs to be produced. A leader understands that building a high-performance team is attainable and necessary.

A true leader is about working to empower people through that empowerment, helping them obtain their personal best in performance.

But they understand that to build a high-performance team; they need engaged people who will stick around and develop a culture focused on the outcome.

Christ’s Example Of Leadership

One of the best examples of leadership is our Savior, Jesus Christ. We can follow His example of leadership in any leadership role, whether in our community, work, family, or church.

Here are some ways that Christ can teach us how to be influential leaders:

Christ Shows Us About Loving Those We Lead

Christ shows us the power of love and leadership. He loved his father; he loved the people he served. In fact, throughout his life, he lived to serve others, even the oppressed, those who were forgotten, and those who were discouraged.

Christ showed us that leadership and love need to go hand-in-hand. People want to work with people who care about them. Even simple things of how are you doing today? I heard your mother was sick. Is she doing okay? These simple things can show people that you care about them as individuals.

Simple acts of humanity show that you care about another person, even those who clean the floors, take out the garbage or park your car. Christ shows us all the power of leadership and loving others.

Christ Taught Us Leadership Is About Serving Others

Christ taught us that there was power and joy in service. We find some of our greatest joys when we serve others.

True leaders are servant leaders because they understand they are servants and leaders who help and work with others. They understand they are the orchestra conductor, whose central role is to help each individual in the team.

Christ taught us that it is through service that we can find the greatest joy.

Christ Taught Us About Leading With Faith

Throughout his mortal ministry, the Savior admonished his disciples to have faith. Leaders also need to have faith. Whether it is faith in your organization, the people you are working with, or even the product or service you may be selling.

You need to have that kind of faith to be a leader. You should passionately believe in your business or organization. This passion and belief become contagious and will ensure others want to follow you.

Christ Set The Example Of Obedience

Jesus Christ set the example for us of perfect obedience and submission to His Heavenly Father’s will. He understood that having things as the commandments and having order was very important.

Leaders must also understand that rules, laws, company policies, and other policies are essential. Because of these things, people can then understand what they need to do and how they need to do it. Leadership is about ensuring that there is order in all things.

Christ Knew The Power Of Unity

Christ often prayed that those who believed in Him might be one, even as He and the Father are. He understood that unity is essential for success in any organization.

Christ knew that when people were unified together, great things could happen and will happen. But He also understood that if there was backbiting, internal strife, anger, or other such things, it could hurt the entire organization or company.

Great leaders should understand the power of unity and do all they can to build unity within their organization.

Christ Understood Sacrifice

A wealthy young man asked the Savior, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?” The Savior answered him, “keep the commandments.” The young man said he had kept the commandments from his youth and then asked, “what lack I yet?” (Matthew 19:16-22)

Jesus, knowing what was in his heart, told him to sell all of his possessions, give to the poor and follow Him. The young man who went away was sorrowful, for he had great possessions and did not want to make the required sacrifice.

A true leader understands that sacrifice and leadership go hand-in-hand. A leader must be willing to sacrifice all things. If a leader asks his workers to work overtime, he must be willing to do the same. People like to and want to work with people willing to sacrifice and work hard alongside them.

Leadership is the ability to be able to direct people without force. And one of the best examples is Jesus Christ, His life, and teachings. We can follow His example in our religious, community, family, church, and professional lives. We can use His example and His life to help us become better individuals and leaders.
