About -Phillip Tan

Phillip is the Academy for Creating Enterprise Area Director in the Philippines (ACE ACT Now).  His business experience includes exposure to different industries, such as business process outsourcing, healthcare, and manufacturing, where he occupied different leadership roles.  

A significant part of his career includes 13 years of working with the Welfare Department of the Church as a Self-reliance Manager.  

He completed his degree in BS Industrial Engineering from De La Salle University.   

He also continues to engage in the outsourcing industry, where he helps start-ups plan and manage their growth.  Aside from his role in the Academy and consultancy projects, Phillip owns a dealership of industrial cleaning equipment based in Davao City.

He is married to the former Geraldine Teh, and they have two children – Spencer is an industrial designer, and Eliza is a software engineer.

In the Church, Phillip serves as a Stake High Councilor for the Davao Philippines Stake.  He also serves as the Zone Leader for BYU Pathway for Mindanao and an Assistant Director for the Communications Council of the Davao Coordinating Council.
