2024 Asia Area Competition Application

Before proceeding, please thoroughly review all the rules and qualifications to ensure your eligibility and understanding of the competition requirements.

Important Timeline Information
Individuals
Competed In No Business Competition
- Due 1 September 2024
- Must have done BYU MS Area MBS or ABC training.
- Must show local chapter had no business plan to participate in.
- Will be judged to see if qualified to go on to the Semi-Final Round.
- Judging for individuals based on business plans and videos. (same as the semi-final round)
- Videos and presentations must be in English or be translated.
Semi-Finals
Chapter Business Plan Applicants.
- Due 1 October 2024.
- Must have done approved training by ACE, ABC, MBS, or others.
- Depending on the number of applicants, we will conduct several rounds of semi-final judging until we reach the top five for each category.
- Applications that have competed in a local competition will go into this round.
- Judging in semi-finals based on business plan and video. No live presentation or Q&A.
Finals
Nov 8 to 9, 2024 Singapore
- Only 15 teams or five teams per category, will go to finals due to time restraints.
- Finals are virtual and in-person.
- There will be a live (in-person or online presentation) with a Q&A by judges.
- The business plan competition is in English. If needed, candidates should arrange their own translations.
- All finalists can also compete for the “People’s Choice Award.”
