BYU MS Asia Leadership Meeting Information
Leadership Form is DUE 5 Nov 2025
Each chapter will need to complete a Google form (see form below).
On the Google form, you will need to provide us with: 1) a review of 2025 and what your chapter has accomplished, and 2) your plans for 2026. Please fill out this form and also prepare 2 slides that cover these topics. You will have 3 minutes during the leadership session to present this information.
BYU MS Area Initiatives for 2026
As part of your 2026 planning, we encourage you to focus on the following three initiatives. Please include specific details in your plans about how your chapter will help develop and support these initiatives:
Business Boot Camps:
BYU MS Asia will hold six Boot Camps in 2026. We need your chapter’s help to not only spread the word but also actively support these programs.
We strongly encourage chapter leaders and board members to attend, as these Boot Camps offer excellent learning opportunities.
Please outline how your chapter will promote and participate in these events.
Business Plan Competition:
How will your chapter help support the 2026 Business Plan Competition?
Consider ways to engage your members, provide mentorship, and encourage participation in this important initiative.
Launching Leaders and Young Professional Associations Program:
We believe that the Launching Leaders Program and the Young Professionals Association Program are closely connected. After individuals sign up for various associations, we can then recommend the Launching Leaders Program as the next step.
Supporting both the Launching Leaders Program and the Young Professionals Association Program will be our primary focus for 2026.
Please detail how your chapter will contribute to these efforts and help expand the reach and impact of these programs.
We look forward to seeing your plans and ideas for supporting these initiatives. Thank you for your dedication and leadership as we work together to make 2026 a successful year for BYU MS Asia.
We can’t wait to see you at the BYU MS Asia Conference 2025 in Taipei, Taiwan. This promises to be an incredible event, and we are excited to have you join us!

More About Our Networking and Mentoring Focus for 2026
In 2026, we aim to expand our focus on networking and mentoring through the Young Professionals Association Program and other initiatives in collaboration with BYU–Hawaii and BYU–Hawaii Alumni Relations, as well as Asian students at BYU and other institutions.
This effort includes developing joint programs with BYU–Hawaii Alumni Relations to strengthen connections between students and alumni. These programs will focus on creating meaningful opportunities for students to build professional networks, gain mentorship, and establish connections in their home countries.
We encourage each chapter to actively participate in outreach efforts to support these students. This includes:
- Organizing events or workshops to connect students with professionals in their field through the Young Professionals Associations.
- Helping identify mentorship and internship opportunities for students returning to their home countries.
- Partnering with BYU–Hawaii Alumni Relations to develop joint initiatives that provide resources and guidance for students as they transition into their careers. This can be done through encouraging them to join in the Young Professionals Associations.
By fostering these connections, we can help students and young professionals build strong networks that will support their personal and professional development while strengthening ties to their home countries.
Here’s a clear and polished section for this:
Key Organizations to Collaborate With in 2026
As we plan and execute our BYU Management Society activities, there are four main organizations that we view as key partners and customers. Chapters should actively work to cooperate with these groups to ensure the success of our programs and initiatives.
Additionally, we encourage chapters to provide support and explanations to these organizations as needed to help them understand the value of our programs.
LDS Institute Students
Collaborate with local LDS Institute programs to engage students in our activities, helping them develop leadership skills and professional networks.
BYU Pathway Students
Work with students enrolled in the BYU Pathway program to introduce them to our resources and provide opportunities for networking, mentoring, and professional development.
BYU–Hawaii Students and Alumni
Partner with BYU–Hawaii students and BYU–Hawaii Alumni Relations to create joint programs and initiatives that connect students and alumni with professional opportunities in their home countries.
Recently Returning Missionaries
Focus on recently returned missionaries to help them transition into professional and educational opportunities. Introduce them to our programs and resources to ensure they feel supported and connected.
By fostering relationships with these key groups, we can expand the reach and impact of the BYU Management Society while supporting the development of future leaders. Chapters should prioritize outreach and collaboration with these organizations to strengthen our shared mission and goals.
