What’s Next for One Ice Cream?

With the support from the competition, Jia Kit has a clear roadmap for growth. One of his first priorities is increasing production capacity by acquiring another ice cream machine. This would allow One Ice Cream to make batches simultaneously, streamline operations, and fulfill more orders — a crucial step as demand increases.

But it’s not just about making more ice cream. Jia Kit is also focused on making the brand more visible and memorable. He plans to invest in targeted social media ads on platforms like Instagram and Facebook, aiming to boost local reach and grow a stronger online following.

Looking the Part and Showing Up

Improving the product’s look is another key move. Jia Kit plans to enhance product presentation with better packaging — something that not only upgrades the customer experience but also signals professionalism and care.

He’s also thinking locally. Sampling at community events and partnering with local cafes or grocery stores will help build grassroots support and keep One Ice Cream connected to its base. It’s a smart blend of digital reach and physical presence — building both brand and community.

A Sweet Start to a Bigger Dream

Jia Kit’s plans are thoughtful, practical, and full of potential. His approach reflects exactly what the BYU MS Asia Business Plan Competition aims to celebrate: innovation with heart, and ambition backed by action. For One Ice Cream, this third-place finish isn’t the end — it’s the start of something even sweeter.
